Attention incoming 5th-grade parents and students! Please plan to attend the Transition to 5th Grade Parent Night. You will receive information about what it's like to be a part of Glenview Middle School , after-school clubs, and activities students can be involved in, and be able to ask questions about middle school.

5-13-24 Announcements -Builders clubs final meeting and end of year party will be this Thursday May 16 at Mitchell park. Students will need to ride bus 49 to the park and the activity bus will bring you back to Glenview for your rides. Any questions, please email Mr. Stombaugh. -Latinx Workshop invites members to one last after meeting Wednesday in the library, 2:30-4:00. We will wish our 8th grade hermanas the best as they move forward to high school. Please remember to wear your 'Hermana Strong' t-shirt. -One By One will hold a promotion reception for its 8th grade members and all members are invited this Thursday, 2:30pm-4:00pm. Enjoy refreshments, music, and a look back at a fantastic year while wishing our 8th grade members the best as they move on to high school. -Any students interested in East Moline Silvis Soccer camps and leagues this fall, please pick up a flyer in the front office. -Track athletes, please return your spikes and jerseys to one of the coaches as soon as possible. See Ms. Woj for more information. -The UTHS Boys track team went undefeated, who never lost a Varsity Invitational this year. This is the first time for this coaching staff also! They are the 2024 Western Big 6 Conference Champions. Our boys came to compete, we are not done! Sectionals are next week in Moline. We are UT!!!

Tennis Club is cancelled today and tomorrow 5/10 due to the half day.

The UTHS Football parent and player meeting for incoming freshmen is tonight from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the UTHS Commons. If possible, both the player and parents are asked to attend.

REMINDER- TOMORROW, Friday, May 10th is an early dismissal day. Glenview will dismiss at 10:55am and all elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30am.

Glenview builders club meeting and the builders pet scavenger hunt will be postponed until next Thursday and Saturday May 9 and 11 due to the higher risk for severe weather today at the time of the event.
